Christian BeldiChristian Beldi is one of the most influential musical personalities of the present, being internationally acclaimed as a piano virtuoso and subtle chamber musician as well as a teacher for both piano and chamber music.

His actual position is that of a professor of piano-chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. He has been teaching also for fifteen years at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf and giving international masterclasses in Germany, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Israel and South Korea. Many of his students are international prize winners in Munich, Orleans, Huesca, Vienna and numerous other competitions.

Born in Bucharest, Beldi studied in his hometown as well as in Geneva, Salzburg, Hamburg and Cologne, being the pupil of the legendary musician Carlo Zecchi, who was himself a pupil of Busoni and Schnabel. He also become the instructions of G. Amiras - a representative of the famous Russian piano school of H.G.Neuhaus.

After winning several major prizes in international piano competitions - Cologne, Maryland, Terni, Valencia etc.- he started an international career giving concerts in the most important music capitals in Europe, America, Asia and Australia, playing as a soloist with great orchestras and famous conductors and collaborating in chamber music with the most renowned musicians worldwide. His CD recordings appeared at BMG Arte Nova, Ambitus and Polygram.
